Informational Meeting Regarding I-75 / Square Lake Interchange to be Held June 21, 2016.
From the Township Newsletter:

"MDOT project
Oakland County Commissioner Shelley Goodman Taub will host a public forum  at 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 21 in Township Hall on the reconstruction of I-75 and Square Lake Road.
Representatives from the Michigan Department of Transportatiion, which is overseeing the project, will be on hand to give an overview.
Plans are to move the exit ramp from the left side of the highway to the right side. The current configuration is considered dangerous.
"There have been 600 accidents at that interchange," Taub said. Drivers often have to cross over four lanes of traffic to get to the exit ramp.
Taub said preliminary work will be done on the site this summer with a full start next spring. All the plans will be covered at the presentation.
The forum will be videotaped by Bloomfield Community TV for presentation later."

Any questions, please contact Shelley Taub at 248-420-8870.
