St. Patrick's Day Event Coordinated by Amanda Salo
Over the next few weeks, many of us will be increasing our time spent at home. If you have young children it can be hard to find things to do all day, for potentially 21 days. And not lose your mind.
So I was thinking about a way for our community to still get outside and do something fun, without touching, sneezing or coughing on each other.
St Patrick’s day is coming up I thought it’d be fun to have a
All you have to do is put a Shamrock in your window or on a tree in your yard if your house is set back from the street like ours on March 17th. That’s it! Color it, paint it, cut it out, print it from the printer, whatever.
Then we can get outside, walk around and see how many Shamrocks we can find! It would be awesome to post pictures of your finds on our neighborhood facebook page.
It’s easy. No human contact. Get fresh air. Just put a shamrock in your window.
Please invite other neighbors and let everyone know!
Me and my kids will be out counting as many as we can! We’ll wave to you from at least 6 feet away.
If you decide to participate, let me know so that I can put the addresses participating on the neighborhood Facebook page. (firstname.lastname@example.org)
